University representatives meet ahead of ARTEMIS application submission
on the February 5, 2024
University Presidents and Vice-Rectors reiterate their commitment to the ARTEMIS partnership, focusing on shared objectives and European values.
On the eve of the application submission (February, 06th 2024) university rectors or their representatives met to introduce and connect with the eighth partner, Università degli Studi di Perugia (UNIPG) which joined the Alliance on December, 2023.
The primary objective of this meeting was to reaffirm the collective commitment to the project, irrespective of the response expected in July from the European council. Central themes discussed included mobility, local anchoring, territorial development, and the promotion of European values, all of which are issues that transcend borders.
Allied universities agreed to outline concrete actions in the coming months, with a focus on Blended Intensive Programms (BIP) to enhance collaboration between institutions. These actions aim to strengthen the foundation of the partnership and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and resources.
A physical meeting is scheduled for March, coinciding with the International Network of Michelin Cities. This will provide an opportunity for rectors and their teams to share experiences and explore new collaboration opportunities, strengthening ties between academic institutions.
