Strengthening global partnerships and institutional capacity in Constanța

From 26 to 30 June 2023, two months after the discussions held in Metsovo, Greece, members of the Alliance had the opportunity to gather in Constanța, Romania, upon invitation from Ovidius University.
These exchanges spread over 4 days allowed for exploration of cooperation possibilities in "hard sciences" such as medicine and engineering, thus reinforcing the coherence of the alliance in the diversity of its cooperation domains.
Through three roundtable discussions, this meeting served to deepen the previous exchanges in Greece and make progress towards the imminent implementation of projects identified in Metsovo.
During the six roundtables, several projects emerged, and concrete actions included summer schools and joint masters programs were highlighted to concretize partnerships. Discussions also centered on collaborative projects in medicine, education, and the arts, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and cultural exchange. Initiatives to strengthen collaboration between administrative offices and streamline support for consortium projects were also discussed, such as the establishment of a dedicated platform for staff communication and training programs for international office staff involved in project implementation.
Overall, these discussions represent a significant step forward in fostering international collaboration and enhancing institutional capacity within the consortium, promising fruitful partnerships and impactful initiatives in the future.
