On 28 June 2024, the ARTEMIS European University project led by a consortium of eight institutions with the Clermont Auvergne University as coordinator, was selected by the European Commission as a ‘European University’ initiative and received co-funding of €8.64 million for four years.

After several months of preparation, the ARTEMIS project officially starts on 1 December 2024, thanks to the support of the European Union. The next four years will enable the ARTEMIS project to build the structural foundations of the ARTEMIS European University as defined by the consortium and in line with the European Commission.

From 20 to 22 January 2025, the kick-off meeting of ARTEMIS project will be an opportunity to bring together the representatives of the eight institutions in the consortium with their local representatives, and to continue the work initiated from 1 December to implement the activities and complete our objectives.

The ARTEMIS consortium is ready to fully dedicate to achieving the objectives of the project and give birth to ARTEMIS European University.
