Second crucial work meeting between ARTEMIS and the Kremenchuk "Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi" National University

ARTEMIS and Kremenchuk "Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi" National University (KrNU) make use of the twinning between cities of Clermont-Ferrand, France and Kremenchuk, Ukraine to strengthen their academic partnership.
On October 6th, 2023, under the leadership of ARTEMIS project coordinator Marie-Elisabeth Baudoin and Rector Mykhaylo Zagirnyak, UCA and KrNU strengthened their academic ties. Taking advantage of the twinning between Kremenchuk and Clermont-Ferrand, both universities engaged in detailed discussions about their collaboration.
Established in 1920, KrNU comprises of 2 institutes and 2 faculties and has been granted in 2010 the highest distinction for a university in Ukraine: the National University status. Its Rector has expressed support for the ARTEMIS alliance and a desire to join the project as an affiliated partner. Discussions were highlighted by the distinguished presence of the Mayor of Krementchouck and its team.
Both institutions converged on the idea of collaborating in key areas such as engineering, sciences, law, and economics. A bilateral partnership particularly, is currently underway, involving student and faculty exchanges between Clermont-Ferrand and Kremenchuk.
A Rushnyk, a traditional woven cloth culturally significant in Ukraine, was gifted by Rector Mykhaylo Zagirnyak as a sign of goodwill and partnership between the Alliance University.
A special note was also made regarding the initiative of the International Relations Office of the University Clermont Auvergne, which will take on the responsibility of bringing this partnership to life. It will play a central role in implementing joint projects, student exchanges, and resource sharing, thus consolidating the bonds between the two.
