Visit of Mr. Teodor Chitic from Ovidius University of Constanţa, Romania to Clermont Auvergne University

Mr. Teodor CHITIC visited Université Clermont Auvergne as part of an Erasmus + staff mobility scheme, enhancing collaboration between the two institutions within the ARTEMIS alliance.
As part of an Erasmus + staff mobility scheme (exchange of good practice), Mr Teodor CHITIC, Head of Information Systems at Ovidius University in Constanţa, Romania, was hosted at the Université Clermont Auvergne from 29 April to 2 May 2024.
The programme of the visit was as follows:
Day 1: 29 April 2024
- General presentation of the Université Clermont Auvergne: welcome at the International Relations and Francophonie Department, then at the Operational Information Systems Department (DOSI);
- Presentation of the structure of the DOSI;
- Presentation of the service catalogue;
- Exchange on the organisation and services offered by the UCA and the Ovidius University of Constanta in Romania;
- Exchanges on identity federations and inter-university services.
Day 2 : 30 April 2024
- Visit to the Datacenter;
- Demonstrations of network-related tools;
- Demo of infrastructure and automation tools;
- Discussion of differences in practices and structures.
Day 3 : 2 May 2024
-Discussions with the Mobility Department and the Partnerships and Projects Department of the International Relations and Francophonie Office.
In addition to enabling an exchange of practices between the colleagues from the Université Clermont Auvergne and the Ovidius University in Constanţa, this visit demonstrates the willingness and commitment of the two universities to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the ARTEMIS alliance, of which the two institutions are members.
