The First Ambassador Intercultural Workshop

On April 29, 2026, the ARTEMIS Ambassador Network organized the ARTEMIS: A Bridge Between Cultures – Romania & Greece Workshops, an intercultural online initiative implemented between the student ambassadors of Ovidius University of Constanța (Romania) and the University of Ioannina (Greece), aimed at strengthening cultural understanding and student engagement within the alliance.

The workshop brought together students from our universities in an digital session dedicated to exploring and sharing elements of Romanian and Greek culture, including traditions, gastronomy, music, legends, and representative cultural landmarks.

The activity provided participants with a space to discover cultural similarities and differences while fostering mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue.

In addition the session encouraged discussions on student communities, associations, and potential joint initiatives that could be developed at alliance level. This also included ideas for future collaborative events, peer-learning activities, and informal student networks.

Participants highlighted the importance of continuous interaction between students from different countries as a way to strengthen belonging within the alliance and to support the development of a truly European student community.

The event represents an important step in consolidating meaningful connections between students across partner institutions and reinforcing the alliance’s commitment to intercultural cooperation, active student participation, and community building at European level.
