The ARTEMIS Virtual Job Fair

The European University Alliance ARTEMIS organized the first edition of the ARTEMIS Virtual Job Fair
A virtual meeting

On 27 May 2026, the European University Alliance ARTEMIS successfully hosted its first Virtual Job Fair, bringing together students, graduates, employers, and partner institutions from six Estonia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania, and Norway in an online networking event.

Organised and coordinated by Ovidius University of Constanța (UOC) in collaboration with the other ARTEMIS partner universities, the event created an international platform for participants to explore career opportunities, connect with employers, and learn more about the European job market.

The participating companies represented a broad range of sectors, including aquaculture, innovation, artificial intelligence and customized software solutions, retail, the automotive industry, food production, luxury fashion, and renewable energy. Through their involvement, employers were able to present their organisations and showcase available professional opportunities for students, including jobs, internships, and traineeship programmes. The interactive format of the event enabled participants to engage directly with presenters, asking questions after each session, which facilitated meaningful exchange between students and the socio-economic environment and contributed to a deeper understanding of labour market needs and sector-specific expectations.

Given the strong interest expressed by both students and employers, the consortium has announced plans to organise a second edition of the job fair later this year, further strengthening this Europe-wide initiative dedicated to academic-industry engagement and student employability.

Within the event, the ARTEMIS International Startup Incubation Program, scheduled to be launched in October 2026, was also promoted among participants. The programme will offer students opportunities to develop innovative ideas through entrepreneurship training, mentoring activities, and transnational collaboration within the alliance.
