Strengthening ARTEMIS links with regional and socio economic ecosystems

MS17 – Network of Stakeholders

ARTEMIS achieved the establishment of a consolidated ARTEMIS stakeholder network as a key instrument for external dissemination, engagement, and long-term cooperation with regional and socioeconomic ecosystems across Europe.

Rooted in the ARTEMIS mission to foster regional transition through education, research, innovation, in the field of mobility, this milestone provides a structured framework for identifying, engaging, and mobilising external stakeholders who contribute to and benefit from the alliance’s activities. The network supports close interaction between ARTEMIS partner universities and their surrounding environments, reinforcing the alliance’s place-based approach.

The stakeholder network has been built through a coordinated, partner driven process l. It brings together:

  • associated partners identified during the proposal phase;
  • stakeholders mapped through regional innovation ecosystems, including incubators, accelerators, and investors;
  • additional stakeholders engaged through project activities such as Living Labs, the Travelling University, internships, micro credentials, joint educational offers, and dissemination events.

The network serves multiple purposes within ARTEMIS. It enables the alliance to disseminate information on project developments and results, invite stakeholders to relevant activities (such as Living Lab sessions, Information Days, conferences, and town‑hall meetings), and facilitate collaboration opportunities linked to education, research, innovation, and regional development. Stakeholders may also provide feedback, support outreach actions, and act as multipliers for ARTEMIS initiatives in their territories.

By formalising the Network of Stakeholders, ARTEMIS strengthens its external engagement strategy and ensures a dynamic, evolving interface between the alliance and its regional ecosystems. It supports sustainable cooperation beyond the academic sphere and enhances the impact, relevance, and visibility of ARTEMIS activities across Europe.
