TogetherWeek 2026 in Bergen, Norway

28-30 September, ARTEMIS Partners gather in Bergen to shape the future of European higher education. Representatives from across the ARTEMIS Alliance will gather in Bergen at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences for three days of collaboration and strategic dialogue. The event will bring together students, academics, leaders, and external partners to strengthen cooperation and advance ARTEMIS' shared ambitions for the future.

Meeting of the Boards

A key focus of the programme is bringing together ARTEMIS’ governance bodies, including the Governing Board, Student Board, Stakeholder Board, and Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Board. This is the one annual event where the boards have the opportunity to meet in person, strengthening dialogue and collaboration across the alliance.

Creating Impact Through Collaboration

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore how ARTEMIS can create meaningful impact across higher education, regional development, and European cooperation. During the “Making an Impact” workshop, participants will reflect on the alliance’s contribution to transforming higher education and identify the key messages and priorities that best communicate the value of ARTEMIS to different stakeholders.

Building an Inclusive Alliance

The programme also includes Diversity Day, an interactive workshop dedicated to strengthening inclusion throughout the ARTEMIS community. Using the Three Horizons Model, participants will reflect on current practices, identify emerging opportunities, and co-create practical actions that can support a more inclusive future for the alliance.

The session will bring together participants from across the partner institutions in both physical and online formats, encouraging broad engagement and collaboration.

Engaging with Regional Stakeholders

Participants will also take part in a stakeholder visit focusing on sustainable mobility and the green transition in Bergen. The programme highlights how public authorities and industry are working together to develop more sustainable transport solutions, both at sea and on land.

Through examples from the Port of Bergen and the City of Bergen, participants will gain insights into innovative approaches to reducing emissions, promoting electric mobility, and addressing the challenges associated with sustainable urban development.

Strengthening the ARTEMIS Community

The Bergen meeting provides an important opportunity for ARTEMIS partners to exchange experiences, strengthen connections, and shape future activities across the alliance. By bringing together diverse perspectives from higher education institutions, students, and external stakeholders, the event contributes to ARTEMIS’ commitment to innovation, inclusion, sustainability, and regional engagement.

TogetherWeek 2026 marks another important step in building a stronger and more connected European university alliance.
