On 16–17 April 2026, ARTEMIS European University took part in the FOREU4ALL Workshop “Aligning Project Management and Impact: A Practical and Strategic Dialogue for European University Alliances” hosted by the University of Granada (Spain) and the Arqus European University Alliance.
ARTEMIS was represented by Lauriane Labourel, Institutional Coordinator at Université Clermont Auvergne and Maria Magdalena Jaczek, Assistant Project Manager of ARTEMIS.
The workshop brought together a broad community of professionals involved in European University Alliances, with over 140 participants representing alliances from across Europe.
The event focused on the strategic role of project management and impact in shaping the future of the European University Alliances.
Over two days of discussions, keynote panels, thematic sessions and collaborative workshops addressed key challenges such as aligning project management with long‑term alliance objectives, embedding impact thinking throughout the project lifecycle, and strengthening evidence‑based reporting and communication. Particular attention was given to the balance between accountability requirements and meaningful storytelling, as well as to the development of shared tools and joint roadmaps for impact and sustainability.
By taking part in this exchange, ARTEMIS contributed to and benefited from collective reflections on how alliances can enhance their impact and reinforce their role within the European Higher Education landscape.
