Three-day festival will unite academia, industry, and communities to explore sustainable digital transformation

CONSTANȚA, ROMANIA – The ARTEMIS European University consortium announces its upcoming Innovation Days festival, taking place September 24-26, 2025, at Ovidius University of Constanta. This landmark event will bring together researchers, industry leaders, and innovation communities to address pressing challenges in sustainability, digital transformation, and smart cities.

The three-day festival, integrated within the broader Constanța INNO Vibe celebration, represents ARTEMIS’s commitment to bridging academic excellence with societal impact. Expected to attract participants from consortium universities, technology partners, and local innovation ecosystems, the event will facilitate knowledge sharing, partnership building, and collaborative solution development.

“ARTEMIS Innovation Days will showcase our consortium’s dedication to meaningful collaboration between universities, industry, and communities,” says Professor Liliana Tuță, the institutional coordinator of OUC representing the ARTEMIS consortium. “By bringing this flagship event to Constanța, we’re demonstrating our commitment to regional innovation while tackling global challenges.”

September 24 opens with the Innovation Dialogues conference, featuring cutting-edge sessions. Running parallel throughout the day, an Innovation Expo (10:00-18:00) will feature interactive booths from CITYINNOHUB and Ovidius University partners, while the AD AUGUSTA Digital Wall will showcase sustainability-focused research from consortium teams. The Innovation Expo remains open to all visitors throughout the day without registration requirements. Confirmed industry participants include EY, Microsoft, Adobe, Druid, Apollo AI, Brinel, Shape Robotics, Ascendia, Neuron English, and Crucial Systems, highlighting the robust industry-academia partnerships within the ARTEMIS network.

September 25 is dedicated to ARTEMIS consortium members, featuring:

• “Bridging gaps, building impact” – Partner universities will present innovative projects connecting academic research with regional priorities
• “Designing what we need” – Interactive stakeholder workshop to shape the ARTEMIS Digital Platform (Work Package 2)
• Study Visit – Guided exploration of Constanța’s local innovation initiatives

Access to Day 2 activities is limited to ARTEMIS European University consortium members.

September 26 opens to local innovation ecosystems for grassroots collaboration:

• “Ecosystem in Action” (09:00-13:00) – Community-led meetings across innovation networks including ARTEMIS, CTT-OUC, CT Startup Community, Constanța Developers, Ambasada, and CITYINNOHUB
• Startup Weekend Constanța Opening (15:00-18:30) – Launch of the 54-hour innovation sprint, powered by CTT-OUC & OICSAS with support from Techstars and CT Startup Community

The ARTEMIS Innovation Days will advance several key consortium goals:

• Digital Platform Development – Gather stakeholder requirements for the ARTEMIS collaborative platform
• Research Integration – Strengthen connections between academic research and real-world applications
• Industry Partnerships – Expand relationships with technology leaders for future joint initiatives
• Community Engagement – Deepen integration with local innovation ecosystems across consortium regions

ARTEMIS Innovation Days is organized in partnership with CITYINNOHUB, CTT-UOC, AD AUGUSTA, and the Ovidius Innovation Centre, as part of the Constanța INNO Vibe festival.
